Ph.D. (Marathi) Shivaji University (1981). A Thesis entitled “Santshryeshth Ekanathanche Vangmayin Vyaktimattva”. This thesis depicts new literary approach towards marathi Sant literature.

Worked as Lecturer and Reader for 17 years and Head of Department – Marathi for next 17 years at Warana Mahavidyalaya and he was Principal for 3 years till 2003. Currently he is working as Head of Geeta dharma Mandal, Sadadhiv Peth, Pune -30 and heading Sakal Sant Vicharpeeth, Kothrud Pune – 38.

Delivered  1200+ lectures at number of places in Maharashtra and nearby states on various subjects pertaining to “Indian culture” , ” Shree Bhagvadgita” and ” Marathi Sant and their literature particularly from Sant Dnyaneshwar to Samarth Ramdas.  Set of 18 lectures on Shree Bhagvadgita and 11 lecture set on Nathbhagvat is one of the notable aspect.

As a researcher and academician participated in and presented papers at  number of Seminars and Conferences at national level. Governing council member of many education institutions in Maharashtra.

Member of different academic institutes and advisor to magazine – ‘GeetaDarshan’.

12 Books are published and many books are referred by BA and MA students of Marathi literature. Guide and examiner for doctorate students for many years. Well known Cultural thinker and authority on teachings of  Indian Saints.

Received many prestigious awards for orator-ship and literature – insights.
